Kovax is returning to his home away from home tonight at The Pike Room in Pontiac.
The Detroit emcee has performed there a number of times in the past opening for such acts as Ghostmane, Pouya, Twiztid, Ho9909 and Cal Scruby.
Tonight he is celebrating the release of his new album Komplex.
The album is his sixth full-length album and much like his previous releases, features a wide array of influences mixing genres including rock and pop to trap and boom bap.
Komplex includes singles "Posthumous," "Isolation Tapes," "Chet Steadman" and "Steve 54'."
Kovax will be performing the album front to back at The Pike Room. The show also features a stacked roster of seasoned veterans of the stage spanning from Detroit, Flint and Downriver.
The show will be d's by Detroit hip hop legend DJ Los.
The show is $15 with the music beginning at 8 pm. The new album will also be available for $10.
