The magic of Disney On Ice is coming back to Detroit's Little Caesars Arena from September 21st to the 24th with the all new Find Your Hero production.
Disney On Ice presents Find Your Hero is an adventure filled with tales of heroism from your favorite Disney movies and featuring those iconic songs.
This year's Feld Entertainment production shares the tales of Moana, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and the all new Encanto.
The performances will feature Livonia native Madison DeLuca as Moana.
DeLuca graduated from Stevenson High School and trained at the Arctic Edge in Canton under coaches Lisa Kirby, Theresa McKendry and Ann Barr.
She joined Feld Entertainment in 2014 after prior experience as a competitive skater and is currently celebrating her tenth year with the company.
The Michigan native can't wait to be back to perform in front of her hometown crowd, "I'm just so excited. I can't wait for next week and I hope Detroit is ready! The last time I performed here was 5 or 6 years ago so I've waited a long time."
"I'm so excited because my coaches can come. Alongside my family, they're the ones who brought me up and really got me to where I am today. It's going to be great to have so much family and so many friends out there to watch."
DeLuca says that the shows will be split into two acts with Act 1 covering The Little Mermaid, Moana and Tangled and Act 2 showcasing Beauty and the Beast, Frozen and the newly added Encanto.
"I portray the role of Moana, which is quite special to me. I feel I just really relate to her. She's very determined, has such a love for the ocean and also is a little bit stubborn, as am I. The show is for all ages with a little something for everyone," DeLuca shared.
When coming home she says she just enjoys spending time with her family and having dinner together, but although she misses home, she loves what she's doing and embraces the traveling lifestyle.
