Combichrist blew up the stage on Wednesday evening in Hamtramck at The Sanctuary Detroit.

The industrial metal band is out touring behind their eleventh studio album, The Venom in the Mouth of God.

Wednesday's show also featured openers Obs Elite, Dead Animal Assembly Plant and Ludovico Technique, who put on a high-octane set that got the crowd fired up for the main event.

In a cloud of smoke, Combichrist erupted onto the stage with the pounding beat of newer track "ODR."

The just over hour and a half set was full of their classics like "Get Your Body Beat" and "Throat Full of Glass" mixed in with The Venom in the Mouth of God tracks like "Rise" and closer "Second Ending (We Have Been Here Before)."

They returned for an encore of "Shut Up and Swallow" and "What the F*ck is Wrong With You?"

Combichrist are known for their relentless energy and founder and frontman Andy LaPiegua commanded the stage from start to finish, turning the small club in the basement into a swirling, pounding dance floor that had everyone moving along.
