'Ain’t Too Proud… The Life and Times of The Temptations' returns to Detroit

The. Broadway smash musical Ain't Too Proud-The Life And Times Of The Temptations has made a triumphant return to Detroit's Fisher Theatre.

The musical will be playing until December 23rd and tickets can be purchased at BroadwayinDetroit.com and at the Fisher Theatre box office.

The Temptations' fascinating journey from the streets of Detroit to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Ain't Too Proud made it's Detroit debut last April and tells the tale of the Temptations' rise from the streets of Detroit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame touching on themes of brotherhood, family, loyalty and betrayal.

All of those things are highlighted throughout the show by the group's treasured hits including "My Girl," Just My Imagination" and "Get Ready."

The story is told from the point of view of the legendary Otis Williams, the last surviving member of the original lineup and the back bone of the group.

Williams is played with perfection by Michael Andreaus who does a great job of moving from narrating to performing and back again.

The chemistry between all of the fantastic and energetic cast members jumped off the stage and the infectious music had everyone swaying, clapping and singing along.

Last night, Otis Williams himself took to the stage once again to thank the audience.
