Adam Ant showcasing 'Friend or Foe' album in Royal Oak

After a sold-out world tour throughout the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, pop icon Adam Ant has returned to the U.S. to perform his landmark solo album Friend or Foe.

The album was Ant's first release as a solo artist and included three hit singles: "Goody Two Shoes," "Friend or Foe" and "Desperate But Not Serious."

In the U.S. the album reached #16 on the Billboard album chart and turned Ant into a household name, resulting in a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and an MTV Award for “Sexiest Man Alive”.

This tour will also find Ant performing some of his classic chart-topping hits alongside some of his personal favorites.

The tour kicked off on September 4 in Milwaukee and runs through October 1 in Miami. Tonight, the tour makes it way to Michigan where Ant will be taking the stage in Royal Oak at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

From his early punk days in London to his explosion on the world stage, Adam Ant's musical career spans the course of nine albums and 22 chart-topping singles worldwide.

Doors for the show at Royal Oak show this evening open at 7 pm and the show will be kicked off by Glam Skanks, the all-female rock band from Los Angeles.

The buzz band has a wide range of influences from T Rex and The New York Dolls to Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. Their upcoming new release Anything in Between is produced by Grammy-nominated producers Bruce Witkin and Ryan Dorn and features new single "Don't Waste It."
